Hello guys this time we will discuss about the benefits of mangoes

In everyday life it is no stranger to us right mango guys

Many even plant mangoes

For that, what are the benefits of mango?

Let’s see the article to the end yes guys

The following benefits of mangoes

  1. Maintain healthy hair and skin

In a study in animals, vitamin A deficiency is at risk of experiencing severe hair loss. This is because vitamin A is an important substance for maintaining healthy epithelial tissue in the skin and hair in order to keep both moist and healthy. In addition, eating a portion of yellow fruit can also meet about 75% of the body’s daily vitamin C intake .

The combination of vitamins A and C is needed by the body to produce collagen. Collagen is a special protein that provides and maintains skin elasticity to prevent wrinkles and sagging prematurely.

  • Reducing blood pressure

Eating sweets often causes blood sugar to rise. But after the Oklahoma State University research team looked at the effects of mangoes on overweight people, their blood sugar levels dropped quite dramatically compared to the time before taking part in the study.

The participants were asked to routinely eat 10 grams of dried mango every day, which is equivalent to about half a fresh mango. Decreased blood sugar levels are thought to be the effect of active compounds and special antioxidants in the fruit.

  • Maintain eye health

Lutein and zeaxanthin are two of the most common antioxidants found in mangoes. Both are reported to help protect the function of the retina and the lens of the eye. The function of the retina and the lens of the eye that works well can improve the sharpness of vision, reduce the effects of uncomfortable eye glare, and reduce the time needed for the eye to recover after seeing bright light.

Lutein and zeaxanthin also work to protect the eyes from harmful ultraviolet rays, and slow the development of cataracts and the dangers of macular degeneration .

  • Prevent cancer

In a study conducted by a team of researchers from Texas AgriLife Research, it was found that mango polyphenol extract can prevent the development of cancer cells in the large intestine, breast, lung, leukemia, and prostate tissue. This fruit is proven to be most effective at preventing the risk of breast and colon cancer .

The content of cancer-preventing antioxidants was also found on the skin. Research from Malaysia shows that mango skin contains polyphenols, carotenoids, dietary fiber, vitamin C, vitamin E and various other active compounds that have the potential as anticancer therapies that are stronger than the flesh of the fruit itself.

  • Relieve constipation

In a study that examined people with chronic constipation, eating this fruit turned out to be more helpful than eating fibrous foods such as wheat. It is important to note that mangoes are the main food of the FODMAP diet . This diet is a diet that avoids foods that can trigger gas and bloating in IBS people.

  • Helps prevent heart disease

The content of fiber, potassium and vitamins in this fruit has long been known to ward off disease or problems in the heart. Because the increase in potassium intake will be proportional to the decrease in sodium in the body. Now if you consume enough intake of sweet fruit in a day, this is very beneficial to reduce the risk of heart disease problems .

  • Helps to lose weight

If the mango is eaten in sufficient quantities and is not excessive, this is useful for weight loss, you know! Because this yellow fruit skin contains phytochemicals that also function as a natural fat removal. While the meat contains lots of fiber which can cause feelings of fullness longer. When you eat high-fiber fruits or vegetables, you won’t feel hungry quickly. That’s why eating high-fiber foods can prevent you from eating excess food which can actually make it difficult to lose weight.

That was the benefit of the mango guys

Hopefully useful, see you later
